Micaela Maio

MICAELA MAIO (Gretl Von Trapp) is excited to appear in her first Main Stage theater production. She is seven years old and resides in Huntington, NY. She has performed in various local productions as an actor, singer, and dancer and plays piano. In addition to writing songs, Micaela is a children’s book author. Her first published book, Kaylea Wants a Dog, was released this past Spring. Micaela loves to act and feels so grateful to have been cast in the role of Gretl Von Trapp in the John W. Engeman Theater Production of The Sound of Music!
