ACOUSTIC EVOLUTION
Tuesday, February 24 at 8 pm
From the creators of the hit show A Band Called Honalee comes Acoustic Evolution, a captivating concert featuring guitar-driven hits of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s like "Tears In Heaven" (Eric Clapton), "Closer to Fine" (Indigo Girls), and "More than Words" (Extreme). This dynamic new production traces how the socially-conscious folk and protest anthems of the 1960s evolved into the intimate, coffeehouse-style pop and rock that followed -- a style that would later inspire the iconic MTV Unplugged era. With heartfelt storytelling, soaring harmonies, and stripped-down arrangements, the show celebrates the artistry of performers who shaped the acoustic landscape, including Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty, Tracy Chapman, Jason Mraz and more.
