The John W. Engeman Theater continues to work with guidelines from the CDC, State of New York Department of Health, and Suffolk County Department of Health to develop the most comprehensive plan to keep our patrons, artists, and employees safe.

Healthy Ventilation Initiative

The John W. Engeman Theater has installed a new state-of-the-art air filtration system throughout our entire theater. This new system filters out the majority of airborne pathogens and is comparable in quality to the systems used by hospitals and other medical facilities. Increased Cleaning & Sanitation Procedures

We will continue thorough and more frequent disinfection with CDC recommended products, providing special attention to high-touch areas. The lobby is equipped with numerous hand sanitizer dispensers.

 

Current Vaccination & Mask Policy

Due to the change in the State of New York guidelines, proof of vaccinations are no longer required beginning March 14, 2022. 

 

These policies are subject to change as we continue to align with official government requirements. Guests who purchase tickets to performances acknowledge and consent to the adherence of policies in place at the time of their performance.
